Langa Security is looking for an experienced Senior Operations Supervisor – Security to join its operations in Edenvale, Gauteng. The successful candidate will help manage security operations across multiple sites while supporting the Operations Manager as second-in-command.

This is a hands-on operational role suited to an experienced security professional who is comfortable supervising teams, dealing with clients, handling incidents and maintaining security standards across different sites.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Supervising Security Officers across assigned client sites.
• Making sure site-specific security procedures and client instructions are followed.
• Monitoring service delivery and maintaining required operational standards.
• Carrying out regular site inspections and identifying areas requiring attention.
• Maintaining professional relationships with clients.
• Resolving operational problems and escalating serious matters to the Operations Manager.
• Monitoring staff attendance, conduct, appearance, performance and compliance.
• Handling disciplinary issues in accordance with company procedures.
• Communicating regularly with the Operations Manager and Control Room.
• Supporting Security Officers during night, weekend and after-hours operations.
• Ensuring incidents are properly investigated, documented and reported.
• Preparing accurate weekly and monthly operational reports.
• Assisting with staff deployment, relief arrangements and operational planning.
• Completing required administrative work accurately and on time.
• Helping the Operations Manager maintain consistent service standards across sites.
• Taking responsibility for operational matters when acting as second-in-command.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

• Valid PSIRA Grade A or Grade B registration and accreditation.
• Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
• At least 10 years of experience in the security industry.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong understanding of security operations and site management.
• Good leadership and people-management skills.
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
• Good communication and client-liaison skills.
• Computer literacy.
• Experience using Easy Roster would be advantageous.
