Phakisa Holdings (Pty) Ltd is recruiting a Code 10 Driver with a valid PrDP for a contractor position based at Crown Mine in Johannesburg South, Gauteng.

The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting and delivering retail products to customers, stores, branches and other designated locations.

This position requires an experienced and responsible driver who can complete deliveries accurately and on time while following road-safety requirements and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

The successful Code 10 Driver will be responsible for:

• Safely operating company vehicles.
• Following applicable traffic laws and company driving procedures.
• Delivering stock to customers and other designated locations.
• Completing pre-trip vehicle inspections.
• Completing post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Checking the condition of the vehicle before and after trips.
• Keeping the assigned vehicle clean and properly maintained.
• Checking delivery documents.
• Verifying product quantities before or during deliveries.
• Assisting with loading stock onto the vehicle.
• Assisting with offloading stock at delivery locations.
• Helping ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on time.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• Valid Code 10 driver’s licence.
• Valid PrDP (Professional Driving Permit).
• 4 years of experience as a driver.
• Good knowledge of local roads.
• Good communication skills.
• Clean criminal record.

Previous commercial driving experience is preferred.

A valid Code 10 driver’s licence and PrDP are required for this position.
