Graduate Internship: Human Resource Practices (X6 Posts) – Unemployment Insurance Fund – Pretoria, Gauteng

The Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF), an entity of the Department of Employment and Labour, has opened its Graduate Internship Programme for the 2027/2028 to 2029 financial year, and this placement is in Human Resource Practices at the Fund’s offices in Pretoria, Gauteng. The programme gives unemployed graduates structured work exposure in their field of study while earning a monthly stipend.

Unemployed South African graduates who hold an undergraduate qualification at NQF Level 6 in Human Resource Management, Public Management, Public Administration, Organisational Psychology or Industrial Psychology may apply. Applicants must never have participated in any internship programme in the public or private sector before.

Key Responsibilities Interns will assist with the administration of service benefits and conditions, support recruitment, selection and placement processes, help implement the employment equity plan, and maintain personnel records and the staff establishment.

Minimum Requirements Applicants must:

• Undergraduate qualification (NQF 6) in Human Resource Management, Public Management, Public Administration, Organisational Psychology or Industrial Psychology.
• Must be unemployed.
• Must never have participated in any internship programme (public or private sector).
• No work experience required.
• Completed and signed new Z83 application form with a CV.

Experience Required No experience is required. This internship is designed specifically for graduates entering the workplace for the first time.
