Junior Bookkeeper – Linbro Park

An opportunity is available for a Junior Bookkeeper in Linbro Park, Gauteng. The position is suitable for a candidate with at least two years of bookkeeping experience and a solid understanding of debtors, creditors and debt collection.

The successful applicant will assist with maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the company’s day-to-day bookkeeping activities.

Key Responsibilities

The Junior Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing accounts receivable, including ensuring invoices are issued correctly and payments are collected.

Other responsibilities include following up on overdue accounts, assisting with payment disputes, managing debtors, monitoring and reconciling supplier accounts, and performing general bookkeeping duties.

The successful candidate will also assist with monthly financial reporting and support the finance function during monthly, quarterly and year-end closing processes.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

• Matric.
• At least 2 years of bookkeeping experience.
• Good knowledge of debtors and creditors management.
• Strong debt-collection skills.
• Experience using accounting software.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• A relevant diploma, certificate or degree will be an advantage.
